Who is Jade?
Jade grew up on the suburban North Shore and attended Carmel College in Milford. Her parents have a boatbuilding company so she enjoyed sailing around NZ a lot when she was younger. Her parents then bought a small farm in Warkworth about 7 years ago and she moved up here permanently about 4years ago.
Jade went to Auckland University and has two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and a Bachelor of Laws. She played netball for the North Harbour representative teams as well as for top club and school teams.
When asked how others describe her Jade said, “I’m a very pragmatic, logical and reasoned person (which is why my mum always had me pegged for law). I have a clear attention to detail and I’m passionate about most things I choose to do in life.”
Jade has been working on family and relationship property law, estate and trust matters and is enjoying being exposed to all aspects of law that Webster Malcolm works in.
The Best Part of the Job
Jade enjoys working in a practice for a smaller community “where you know everyone” and can be involved in what the community has to offer.
She values the opportunity to learn from all the knowledge and experience gained from the Partners and Consultants at Webster Malcolm and working as part of a team to achieve a positive outcome for the client.
“A mentor of mine once said that the law is a “worthy, privileged profession which has engaged, sustained – and for the most part satiated me – for half a century”.
Outside work Jade is not short of things to do! She trains, breeds and competes with horses and gets involved in all the farm activities on the family farm.
She is also a trained classical pianist so she enjoys playing piano, and loves scuba diving when she gets the chance!
